Data Deletion
Last updated: June 29, 2026
You have the right to request permanent deletion of your Signalant account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what will be removed, what may be retained, and how to revoke Signalant's access to your Google account.
1. Deleting Your Account
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, send an email to:
support@signalant.io
Subject line: Account Deletion Request
2. Information to Include in Your Request
To allow us to locate and verify your account, please include:
- The email address associated with your Signalant account
- Your full name as registered
- Whether you signed up with email/password or Google Sign-In
- Any additional details that help identify your account (e.g., show name)
3. Identity Verification
To protect your data, we will verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Verification may include:
- Sending a confirmation link to the email address on file
- Asking you to confirm account details only you would know
- For Google Sign-In accounts, confirming the linked Google email address
We will not process deletion requests that cannot be verified. If you no longer have access to the registered email address, contact us and we will work with you to verify your identity through alternative means.
4. Response Timeframe
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours of receipt.
- Verification: We will complete identity verification within 5 business days.
- Deletion: Once verified, account deletion will be completed within 30 days.
- Confirmation: We will send an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
5. What Data Is Deleted
Upon verified deletion of your account, the following data is permanently removed from active systems:
- Your account record, email address, name, and profile information
- Show configuration and knowledge base content
- Guest profiles, lead records, and ICP scores
- Episode records, production stages, and call sheets
- Outreach sequences, contact history, and pipeline cards
- Subscription history and billing metadata stored by Signalant (payment records are retained by Stripe per their policies)
- AI-generated content stored in your account
- Authentication sessions and security logs associated with your account
Backup copies maintained by Supabase are purged on Supabase's standard schedule, typically within 30 days of the deletion date.
6. Information That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained after account deletion for limited legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes:
- Financial records — transaction amounts, dates, and subscription history may be retained for the period required by applicable tax law and accounting standards (typically 7 years in the US).
- Outreach consent logs — records of email consent and opt-out history may be retained for a minimum of 3 years to demonstrate compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and similar regulations.
- Abuse and policy-violation records — if your account was suspended for violating our Terms of Service, a limited record may be retained to prevent re-registration and protect the platform.
- Legal hold — if your account data is subject to a pending legal proceeding, dispute, or regulatory inquiry, we may be required to preserve relevant records until the matter is resolved.
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics — anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.
Information retained under these exceptions is kept only for the minimum period required and is not used for any other purpose.
7. Revoking Signalant's Google Access
If you signed in to Signalant with Google, you can revoke Signalant's access to your Google account independently of — or in addition to — requesting account deletion.
To revoke Google access:
- Go to your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find Signalant in the list of connected apps
- Click Remove access
Revoking Google access prevents future Google Sign-In to Signalant but does not delete your Signalant account or its data. To delete your account and data, follow the steps in Section 1 above.
Signalant only requests the email and profile scopes from Google — basic identity information used solely for authentication. Revoking access removes our ability to use Google Sign-In; it does not affect any Google product or service you use elsewhere.
8. More Information
